There are media reports out that suggest that Apple’s iPhone is coming to China, soon!
Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs has said the company hoped to roll out the iPhone later this year in China.
I’m not so sure that I’d be interested in one, but I kinda like that I will at least have the option to get one!

Hi! I'm Steve Webel and this is my blog. Thanks for stopping by!

I’ll be getting either a Blackberry or iPhone for work this year … and I still can’t decide which one I’d want. I’m, of course, leaning towards the iPhone … but I haven’t really had a chance to put a Crackberry through its paces to see if I like it too …
I’m sure they both have their strengths… But Lance Webel with a Blackberry instead of an iPhone would just be… weird!
If I didn’t have “Great Firewall” issues, I’d certainly be very tempted to dump my Razr for an iPhone.
I am a Mac addict to the core, yet I really like my Crackberry World Edition. I think (as with all technology purchases) which one is better depends on what you plan to do with it. I do a LOT of emailing on my BB. I get both work and home emails on the same device and can keep up with both at all times. Hence, I really love having a full QWERTY keyboard, and sacrificed a little bit in terms of size to get one (the BB Pearl is smaller, but didn’t have the full keyboard and I hated the letter recognition software on my old BB - My BB is still smaller than the iPhone though). However, for net surfing, it is below average. Sites do not show up as they would in a normal browser, and you have to scroll with a stupid little ball. But it gets the job done for the very little bit of surfing I do on it. The addressbook/phonebook is also subpar, but works. If you are going to do a lot of surfing, I bet the iPhone is better (though I’ve never tried one). If you are going to do a lot of emailing, I bet the BB is better, just because of the keyboard. Then again, I’ve never tried to type quickly on a touchscreen…
Too bad this costs money: http://www.bplay.com/theme.php?t=234
Somehow, I don’t think a theme applied to a BB will give it the functionality of an iPhone.
btw - I saw yesterday that Apple is opening their first OFFICIAL Mac store in Beijing later this month! With more on the way!
