That’s a cool map. I’ll have to come back to this post later tonight because I don’t think I’ll be able to handle the punditry on tv!

Google must be getting hit hard, the map will not load for me right now…

Oh well, it was a good idea anyway!

As of 7:38 pm, I can see it. And McCain has 8 votes, while Obama has 3.

It’s working for me now, it may just be that my connection is on the slooow side, or maybe Google fixed the traffic jam.

I’m not holding my breath, especially this early in the reporting. However, in the few elections that I’ve watched as an adult, I’ve noticed every TV pundit makes things seem like THEIR candidate is winning and will have it all sewed up in no time… then when reality is revealed hours later, the liberally biased announcer turns out to be wrong..

I know he’s not a perfect candidate, but for the sake of millions of unborn babies, I hope the color RED shows up more on this map than BLUE!

If he is not perfect, why vote for him? Just curious…

Watching network coverage right now is really interesting. As of right now –
Fox is saying it is 200 to 90.
NBC also says 200 to 90.
    ABC says 200 to 124.

Throughout the last hour or so, they have varied even more widely than the numbers above as different networks exercise caution with each state.

175 v 61 here on Google Gadgets… not looking good, but it’s still early!

I should be in bed right now but am waiting to see how FL gets called. It is very close so far. Hopefully just another 30 minutes or so and then we will know. If Obama gets FL then he will win because I am sure he will get CA.

Looks like the fat lady has sung…

Congratulations to Mr. Obama. I’ll be praying for you.

@Anon – there is no such thing as a “perfect” candidate. If anyone says there is, they are not grounded in reality.

If ‘perfection’ is your benchmark for voting or not, I guess you’ll NEVER vote.

    cheers!

Hey Steve, If Mr. McCain had won, would you immediately be saying, ” I’ll be praying for you”? Does this infer intrinsic bias? I’m just curious… you state that for the million of unborn babies, it better be red… i’m just curious, what did the last “red” president do to change that? What is made of whole life… of supporting life after birth? Of supporting life, but being sent to jail if you were raped or a product of incest? I just don’t get that argument… correct me if I am mistaken. – Cousin Dave

Hi David, I pray for my gov’t leaders because the Bible commands that I do so, I fail to see how this suggests an “intrinsic bias.”

I also don’t understand your statement about abortion. Clearly if one candidate is against it, and the other is for it (including the horrific practice of partial birth abortion) then the candidate that is against it is far better news for unborn babies. Do you not follow that logic?

As for those other things, those are what are called “straw men” and have no bearing on the morality of killing an innocent baby inside a mother’s womb.

Hey Steve, Looks like a chunk of that comment was deleted somewhere in the process of posting it. Ultimately, subject matters of this proportion are better discussed and conveyed in person. Looks like you and your family are doing well, I heard many good stories about your life in China this past weekend. Take care, Dave.
