Elizabeth is feeling under the weather, actually a lot under the weather, she has an ear infection and pneumonia!
She had to get an initial shot of antibiotic at the doctors office (not fun) and now she has a five day supply of a not-so-yummy antibiotic that she needs to take every day.
We are thankful that we are in Texas, not traveling and not in China, where getting medical treatment and the proper medicine is very easy and that we can give her time to recover in and around the house!
Please pray for Elizabeth over the next few days, taking her medicine is one of her all-time least favorite activities. (Not to mention, her birthday is FRIDAY!)

What a stinky way to spend a birthday. I sure pray she gets better fast, for everyone’s sake… and that she doesn’t share this like she shares her Easter candy.
An Update: We took Elizabeth in to the ER this morning (Thursday) because her temp had spiked to 105!
The managed to get her fever down and she is now back at home. The key for us is to keep her current on her antibiotic and to keep the Tylenol & Motrin on top of her fever.
Friday Update: Elizabeth woke up today (Friday – her birthday!) with NO fever! We are optimistic that she is going to feel MUCH better today!

Saturday Update: PTL, Elizabeth is almost at 100%! Still no fever. She was a little extra emotional at times, however, she was able to fully enjoy her 3rd birthday party.
