I’m an American Ex-Pat that lives and works in East Asia. I’ve spent quite a bit of time studying Mandarin, and i can speak a little. I love learning about other people’s cultures and exploring the nuances of effective communication between various cultures.I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

My faith is very important to me and it impacts every aspect of my life. John 3:16 is a great summary of how I relate to God. “For God so love the World, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him, will not perish, but have eternal life.”

神 爱 世 人 ， 甚 至 将 他 的 独 生 子 赐 给 他 们 ， 叫 一 切 信 他 的 ， 不 至 灭 亡 ， 反 得 永 生 。 ( 约翰福音 3:16)

I’ve been married for about 10 years and we have three daughters and two sons!  Sometimes raising a family ‘overseas’ is challenging, but overall, the benefits of being overseas outweigh the difficulties.
