BEIJING (AP) — China’s Cabinet vowed a complete overhaul of the scandal-ridden dairy industry Monday, pledging to inspect every link from the farm to the dinner table to try to restore public trust in Chinese-made food products. 

In its strongest action yet, China’s highest level of government called the industry “chaotic” and acknowledged there was a lack of oversight.

The idea is for a bunch of people who blog to write a blog post on the same topic on the same day, thus raising awareness.  The upcoming topic is “poverty”.  Here’s a video that talks about it;

The video says poverty is the issue of “most pressing importance.”  I disagree, but that’s the cool thing about this, I don’t have to agree to participate.  Many voices, many perspectives.

Whew!

Everything seemed to go smoothly, but then I couldn’t log back in to my admin page (where I write new posts and manage all the settings of the blog.)  I have to admit, with all the issues Erica is having with her blog as a result of Apple‘s problems migrating from .Mac to “MobileMe”, I became very nervous that we were both gonna be hurtin in the blogging arena.

However, after a few minutes of trouble shooting and trying a few things, I thought about resetting my browser (I’m using Apple’s Safari browser.)  I had read that one of the ‘upgrades’ in v2.6 was a new way of handling “cookies”, by resetting Safari, I would wipe out the old cookies and get a fresh start, so to speak.

Well, it worked!  Whew!  Crisis averted.

• WordPress Automatic Upgrade - allows you to automatically upgrade your wordpress installation to the latest one provided by wordpress.org using the 5 steps provided in the wordpress upgrade instructions.
