Tian Tan Buddha, also known as the Big Buddha, is a large bronze statue of a Buddha, completed in 1993, and located at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island, in Hong Kong

While on vacation with my family in Indonesia, we stayed at a beach resort that was surrounded by rice fields.  The colors were amazing, here is one of the shots from that trip.

This statue was in the town at the top of Sacra Monte. It was of a pope Paul VI. It was scary.
