Christmas is almost here and wow, are we busy!  There is just so much activity here around this time of the year.

For example, today started out with a trip to our favorite photo studio to get a nice family portrait done for Christmas…

Then we came home and I finished up getting ready for my last classes of the semester.  (I give my final exam next week.)

Today in my classes, Erica brought the girls by to help give out cookies to all 183 of my students and to sing some Christmas songs for them.

After that, we had dinner and then we were out the door again to go to the girl’s school for their Christmas party.  We were originally told there would be 15 or so people there and we were asked to give a performance for about 10 minutes.  Well, it turned out that there were 100+ people there!

Erica was able to share with the crowd about the true meaning of Christmas and then the girls sang “Away in a Manger” to everyone’s delight.  We returned home around 9:30ish – waaaay past everyone’s bedtime.  But we sure did have fun!

Tomorrow is Christmas eve and there is a whole new set of activities and parties!  Should be fun!
